Security System Concept and Interfacing With 3rd-Party Device

Need Of Security System

A security alarm is a system designed to detect intrusion – unauthorized entry – into a building or area. Security alarms are used in residential, commercial, industrial, and military properties for protection against burglary (theft) or property damage, as well as personal protection against intruders. Car alarms likewise protect vehicles and their contents. Prisons also use security systems for control of inmates. Some alarm systems serve a single purpose of burglary protection; combination systems provide both fire and intrusion protection. Intrusion alarm systems may also be combined with closed-circuit television surveillance systems to automatically record the activities of intruders, and may interface to access control systems for electrically locked doors. Systems range from small, self-contained noisemakers, to complicated, multi-area systems with computer monitoring and control.

How It Works

How Security System Works

Main Element Of Home Security and Alarm System

1. Control Panel
2. Power Supply
3. Sensor's Network
4. Alert Interfacing with Human(Re-Direction: Siren, Buzzer, Display Unit, Internet User, Mobile User )

Security  Control Panel

Home Security System Schematic Diagram

The panel consists of Micro-controller, GSM Modem, RF reciver 433 or 314 Mhz, LED Display
LCD Display, USB Interface for Advance Monitoring, Relay for Electrical Appliances Interfacing
Wired Sensor Input, Battery Charge and Backup supply Module, Consistent DC Power supply through DC/DC Converter. Internet data can be redirect through agent URL i.e.www.synapse-system.com Real time logs

GSM Module is responsible for to communicate mobile user via SMS, Call Dialing, Mobile App and the module will send any events to dedicated internet web server. Through this web server user can configure his Facebook id or Mail ID.

Wireless RF Sensor Receive

The main panel having RF receiver module , this RF module consists of decoding address or store the required transmitter address

USB Interface for Developer or 3rd-Party Software Interfacing.

The user can send and receive the data in plain text format. The user can interface their module via USB port at serial port mode and default speed is  9600pbs.
following row's with fields can be received through usb port.

Battery Backup and Power Supply in the panel

The one subsystem is really important is power supply module. following check point are required for buyer.

    1. Battery Recharge Cycle (1000-2000), it defines the battery life.
    2. What is inside capacity of backup battery in term mAh, (i.e. 7.5V , 1500mAh, It defines the back-up time.)
    3. What is the Siren Loud when power failure happen?

Security Sensor's Network

User can use wired or wireless sensor as per user requirement, As our opinion both kind of sensor's are reliable, Following sensors are available.

        Remote Key
        Magnetic Door Sensor
        PIR Human Motion Sensor
        Smoke Sensor
        Glass Break Sensor
        Gas Sensor etc
